ON WEDNESDAYS WE WEAR PINK

Mean Girls, anyone? I still can’t believe Mean Girls is turning TEN years old this year… I’m starting to feel old! Regardless, I love my “On Wednesdays we wear pink” loose top, and what I love even more is the fact that I can wear this outfit without layering much over it on this beautiful January day while a good chunk of the country is still recovering from the polar vortex (sorry, Midwesterners and East Coasters!).

As with the case in this post, it’s always best to pair baggy with slim to avoid looking frumpy. Keeping it very minimal and tailored on my bottom half to balance with the oversized top, I opted for my jeggings and tapered over-the-knee boots. With a statement shirt, you don’t want to draw too much attention away from it, as that will defeat the purpose of said shirt, so my black Longchamp Le Pliage tote got chosen as the bag of the day for this look. Low key but still stylish, this outfit is great as a casual yet tasteful choice for everyday-wear.
