Over the weekend, I met up with Calvin, an old friend (seriously, we go back 6+ years) who happens to be a fantastic photographer. We had talked about a collaboration for some time now but never got around to actually doing it, thanks to our busy schedules and different cities of residence. But finally, plans were solidified and our collaboration was put into motion.
If the title of this post hadn’t given it away, you probably wouldn’t have been able to tell that these shots were taken under a bridge (AKA wind tunnel). There was actually a busy street separating me from the camera, so it was quite interesting trying to do takes in-between cars. At one point, we might have loitered a little too close to the curb for some drivers’ comfort, because we received a few honks as the cars zoomed by. We promise we’re not suicidal!
Regardless, it was definitely a different albeit fun photo experience for me with the multiple lens and even a softbox light (special thanks to my sister for making sure the softbox light didn’t tip over from the winds), so major props to Calvin for knowing what he was doing – and producing such great images! Here’s to more collaborations in the future!
