On Monday, I made my Europe announcement (by the way, thank you so much for your enthusiastic and supportive comments! You can definitely be sure that I’ll be sharing experiences and photographs with you all). Today, to follow up with that, I’m revealing one destination I’ll be hitting up in honor of today’s post!

Blue Vanilla, a new fashion label headquartered in London, recently sent me this cozy sweater dress, perfect for the recent (slight) temperature drop. It’s still relatively warm during mid-day, but it gets quite chilly in the mornings and evenings, so the dress comes in handy during those times. I love the checked pattern, but perhaps my favorite aspect of the dress is the black/white ombre effect. As you can probably tell, the fit isn’t exactly body-conscious, which makes it all the more comfortable and appropriate for a day-outing, whether it be brunch, shopping, or movie-watching. To finish off the look, I thought it only made sense to don on a pair of over-the-knee boots from Louise et Cie (I love that these look so much like the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boot, with similar quality but at a fraction of the price!). I’m excited for when the chillier temperatures finally set in, because then I can layer this dress with a trench coat from Zara I’ve been eyeing, or with the wool Mango coat that’s been patiently hanging in my closet since last winter!

And if you haven’t guessed it by now, the location I’m revealing today is London! Is that surprising? I feel like London is one of the must-visit cities during anyone’s first Europe trip. If you’ve ever been, do shoot some must see/must do/must eat recommendations my way! I’d love to hear them and add them to my list!

Thank you so much for reading!
