S/S 2015 HAUTE COUTURE: ELIE SAAB

Circling back to the dreamy, romantic theme (I can never get enough of that!), here’s the full look at Elie Saab’s spring 2015 haute couture collection that was unveiled during Paris Couture Week.

Set against a backdrop of a live garden, it was a magical parade of woodland beauty that featured the Elie Saab silhouette of belt-cinched waists with short and long A-line flares on a pale palette of pastels (and shimmery blacks). Keeping true to the forest theme, the ethereal gowns – including two stunning pant looks – featured iridescent beading, sequins, and even feathers, but rather than adding weight, these details enhanced the fluidity and overall feeling of lightness to the gowns. Spring has come.
