There’s really nothing more sartorially fun than mix-and-matching textures and fabrics. In throwing the ultimate outfit party here, stripes was partnered with plaid, who matched with leather, who partied with suede. With so much happening in one outfit, it’s helpful to remember an important tip: To avoid looking like a fussy mess, try keeping the color scheme towards the dark side, and stick to one or two main colors only.

On this particular windy day in Los Angeles, I met up with my sister to check out the “Sink or Swim” exhibit, a collection of powerful images that demonstrate the problems of climate changes present in coastal regions and the architectural designs people embrace in their resilient efforts adapt to the changing landscapes, at the Annenberg Space for Photography. This exhibit runs until May 3, 2015, and I highly recommend checking it out. For more information on “Sink of Swim,” take a look here.

As always, thank you for reading!
