I don’t usually post on Saturdays… but I started feeling like I wasn’t exactly off to a great blogging start this year having only posted one article since January started. Despite this minor blogging rut, I’ve been more active on Instagram, so I thought I’d quickly tempt you into a little online shopping this weekend by putting together a where-to-buy guide for some of my latest Instagram looks for you! Since a few of them are actually #tbt ones and thus the exact items are seasons-old and no longer available (with the exception of this old sweater vest that I got back in 2014, but I’m not too surprised to see it back in stock due to popular demand because it is just THAT great of a winter piece), I went ahead and scoped out some similar-looking pieces for your consideration.
On a separate subject, I’ve been dying for the longest time to really get back into leisure reading and made it one of my absolute-must-do things for 2016. I’ve been too lazy to pop into my local library and too cheap to buy any actual books so in the meantime, I’ve been binge-reading Sophie Kinsella novels in PDF format on my laptop and my eyes have never felt worse. I mean, I know tangible books are slowly becoming démodé, but how can people stand reading on screens for hours at a time? Serious question. My pupils feel like they’ve been through some serious scorching, although it may also be because I’ve been sleeping at 3am everyday just to finish my books. But honestly, when I’m all settled and have a permanent house, I’m so excited to nerd out and design an actual Beauty-and-the-Beast-style library, complete with book-filled walls, alcoves, and wooden ladders. That and a huge walk-in closet, of course.
